Jason F. Franklin
REPRESENTING PEOPLE. PERIOD.
Jason Franklin and his staff at The Franklin Law Firm, LLP represent individuals who have been injured, disabled or suffered wrongful death in personal injury and Social Security disability cases. "Every client deserves personal attention," Franklin says. The vast majority of the firm's cases are referrals from former clients who trust Franklin to do right by their friends and family. "My clients are good, hardworking people who have been injured or disabled through no fault of their own, and have chosen me to serve as their voice during their time of need," he says. "It is the highest honor to do so and a responsibility I take very seriously."
EXPERIENCE WHERE IT COUNTS
Jason Franklin is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas, and has been repeatedly chosen as a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a publication of Thomson Reuters. In addition, he currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
Franklin began his career at the prominent Dallas defense firm of Jones Rook Austin, LLP, concentrating on medical malpractice and trucking litigation defense involving catastrophic injury or death. "Having done defense work, I know how the insurance companies operate and I know how they evaluate these cases," he says. This background strengthens his preparation of the case for trial. "Every client that walks in the door, we immediately begin preparing their case to go to trial," Franklin says. 'The value of any given case is dependent upon one thing - what a jury is likely to do," he explains. "It is only through preparation and the ability to effectively communicate your case to a jury that one is able to maximize the value of the case."
EDUCATION WITH HONORS
Jason graduated from Arizona State University Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 G.P.A., receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in political science. He then obtained his Juris Doctor Law Degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law with several honors, including induction into S.M.U.'s Barristers, as well as the National Order of Barristers, and received the Excellence in Advocacy Award for his participation on numerous Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. In addition, he served on the Computer Law Review and Technology Journal, and served as Vice-President of the Board of Advocates.

COLLEGE OF THE STATE BAR OF TEXAS
The College of the State Bar of Texas is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas. Members are qualified attorneys who are interested in both high ethical standards and improved training for all Texas attorneys. The College recognizes Texas lawyers who attend at least double the Continuing

TEXAS SUPER LAWYERS - RISING STARS
The Selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars is made by Super Lawyers, a publication of Thomson Reuters. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Rising Stars recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state -- those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Only 2.5% of Texas attorneys are chosen for this honor in any given year. Jason Franklin has been selected for this honor on three separate occasions: 2008, 2010 and 2011.
